NEW YORK CITY, USA, November 10, 2021-Over 30,000 runners participated in the 42-kilometer TCS NYC Marathon on November 7. Among the marathoners is Open Access BPO employee Alessio Urbani who represented the multilingual call center in the prestigious race.

Since 2016, Open Access BPO has been a major sponsor of Ryan’s Run, a charity campaign and NYC Marathon Silver Charity Partner. This sponsorship supports nonprofit organization Allied Services ‘ healthcare projects for people with disabilities, life-changing injuries, and chronic illnesses.

Earlier this year, Open Access BPO renewed its commitment to the charity through a $10,000 donation.

“Making a difference has always been at the core of our every business decision and initiative, whether it’s through our outsourcing services, assistance for our employees and their families, and the good of our communities,” said Open Access BPO CEO Ben Davidowitz. “So, for the past six years, we’ve made a vow to help others through a charity that does rehabilitative work while rewarding our tenured employees.”

Urbani, the company’s Business Development Manager, has participated in marathons though, the NYC Marathon is his longest race. He trained in his hometown in Italy to prepare for his NYC Marathon debut.

He finished the marathon at 6:12:46.

“It is an honor for me to represent Open Access BPO at this event, especially knowing that the donation will help people with disabilities via Ryan’s Run,” stated Urbani.
